Sizing is mostly based on feet. If it's comfortable under your feet when riding, it's a good size for you.
When choosing a deck size, don't just think about the rider's size, but also the type of riding.
As a general rule, wider decks are good for vert riding (ramps, pools) and cruising because they're more stable. They're also good for bigger riders.
Narrower decks are good for street tricks like kickflips because they're more responsive. They're also best for smaller riders.
Deck Width: | 7.45" & Under | 7.5" - 8.0" | 8.0" - 8.25" | 8.25" & Up |
Recommended Style: | All around riding for kids 14 & under | Street & Technical tricks | Pools, Ramps, Parks, & All Around | Vert, Pools, & Cruising |

Nice Choice
Jordan on 05/23/18Loved the classic design on this deck. The shape is different than what I normally ride. VERY mellow concave, 31.75†total length, longer (7†long) wide nose with a blunted end, shorter (6.6†long) narrow tail that tapers down in width a good bit near the end, 14.5†wheelbase. I didn't know if I would love this shape when I first set the board up but it works well in many ways. Great pop with the shorter tail and longer wheelbase. The mild concave makes for a very stable ride and the landings feel more solid. Takes some getting used to if you typically ride a normal concave deck with a wider tail like myself. My setup is this deck with Indy 144mm's and spitfire 53mm's. Hope this helps steer you in the right direction.
This board is sick!
