Buyers Guide: Trucks
Truck Height:
Trucks generally come in LOW, MID, and HIGH styles.
LOW trucks are best for beginners because they are extra stable. They are also great for flip tricks for that reason.
MID trucks are the most common and versatile trucks, and are great for street or park skating.
HIGH trucks are best for cruising, carving and overall less technical skating.
The axle width, as a general rule, should be similar to the width of the deck.
Hanger Size | Axle (In.) | Recommended Board Width (In.) |

Gettin middy with it.
nic on 11/23/20Not that it matters but I've been skating for 24 years always indys. I wanted to try something new so I bought these mids. They come extremely loose. My Philosophy always has been "skate until they break in no need to tighten them." But I had to tighten these. Turning is just like the original maybe even better but I didn't like how low they were. I usually skate 55 I had to skate like a 52 so just made me significantly slower. The base plates are new they stick out a little bit more which is really nice for nose slides and tail slides. Don't be misled by this name mid it's not any lighter, which I like personally. But if you're looking for a less beefy truck this isn't for you.
