do you even longboard bro
dantheman3303 on 10/23/18if you do longboard you'd know that orangatang wheels have a reasonable price for the size and quality. wheels and decks are two different thingsand if you are buying 80 mm wheels for a deck cheaper than the wheels then the deck is probably crap and these wheels might not even fit the deck.
Big and Smooth
Jack V on 02/04/19I have the 83a Caguamas on my LDP setup with some zealous bearings, and they roll over everything, they roll fast, and they keep rolling. Have put approx. 500 miles on them and while they have worn some they are in relatively great shape. Great wheels, worth the $, definitely recommended.
worth it
moondog on 09/23/19I deliberated about these big honkers. I had cages, fat frees and skiffs and kegels, so I said okay. no regrets. they fly. wheels are as important as shoes on your feet. I got the 80 and then got 84. I have the 84 on my anvil. go fast. have fun.
The only wheels I'll buy
Foxy on 10/22/19Awsome wheels. I own a set of caguama and kegel 80mm and 85 mm. I'll never buy anything else. Stability, control, and confidence
Best wheels I've ever owned
JayCurtis502 on 04/23/20Bought these as an upgrade for my Boosted board. They made the ride smoother and they also grip the road better. I love to carve hard at high speeds and so far these wheels have held up great after 150 miles! Very bouncy feel and super grippy.
BEST SWAP for Boosted Board
Melissa on 06/28/20Bought the light blue a77s. I'm a total newb trying to learn to ride while commuting to work in NYC streets. This is a TOTAL GAME CHANGER. The ride feels so smooth and natural, as I would've expected when riding for the first time. This is like wearing sneakers vs. wearing flat sandals for playing soccer. So much easier to maneuver. Potholes, drains, whatever, it's all good now. so happy, I don't care if I have to change them every month if they wear out, they are totally worth it.
Some SIIIIIICCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKK Wheels
Brad on 03/28/21I love Orangatang Wheels and they're all I ride anymore and that's for great reasons, and evn tho ppl say that they're more expensive u can't deny that they're the 1,000% best wheels out bar none! They're so tight that I evn ride em on my new school street "Welcome" Jordan Sanchez deck. With a 1/4" soft khiro riser my purple 65mm Fat Free's wrk perfect and the speed I get is straight crazy aftr just 1 or 2 nice kicks! All n all I hav those, yellow Durian's, yellow Moronga's, yellow Cage's, & now my all-time favorite wheels of all these new Orange Cagauma's! These wheels r just straight incredible!! I can ride over any cracked sidewalk now without evn manualing over the cracks and gaps and don't hang up on them evn when I'm goin really slow over them. That's so great especially here n VB, VA where our pavements r def subpar to say the least lol. The amount of speed I can get on just 2 or 3 pushes on flat ground is incredible too, and I love the blend of grip/slide/speed I can get all at the same time with these mid-durometer wheels. Normally I buy the hardest durometers for the huge amounts of speed the hardest durometer wheels will always give u bcuz n Virginia Beach where I live where I street skate and longboard the land is 100% flat to say the least so I'm always looking for wheels that I can generate the most speed with while needing to push the least amount of times to generate said speed. But so far after a few sessions I'm really satisfied with these mid-range 1s. The 1 and only minor issue I can possibly think of with the Cagaumas is that they're by far the heaviest wheels I've ever used since I 1st started skating when I was 8yrs old way back n 1983, and since '83 I've always skated non-stop except for when I had occasional injuries that required me to stop for at most 1-3 months at a time. But, for me the ride the Cagaumas provide me with, the Orange 1s perfect amount of grip to slide ratio, the huge amount of speed they allow me to get with a minimal amount of effort from pushing, the great control they give me while skating street and the occasional hill around my area, and the ability they give me to ride over rocks, pine cones, cracks and gaps in the sidewalks, and even enable me to ride over small potholes all outweigh anything that can be considered these wheels 1 or 2 potential and possible defects which n my opinion r only their higher price point and the weight of each Cagauma wheel and also because of these wheels high weight this inhibits my ability to catch airs & do any tricks that require me to Ollie or generate air n order to do them and lastly for me the extra weight of the wheels and as a result the high weight of my entire complete skateboard itself I've found results n my skateboard being a lot less agile when I'm riding it and it makes it much much harder to do quick or sharp turns on my board. I now have to prepare for my turns a lot earlier while I'm riding and draw out my turns where as while riding a more lightweight board and setup I could turn sharper without my intended line of my desired turn ending up being far off line and especially while I'm trying to ride a curved course at higher speeds. I now have to draw out my turns more and start my turns much earlier than I did when I rode lighterweight wheels which made my entire skateboard b much more lightweight. But the grip of the Cagaumas is so good u r all to hold ur lines n ur turns and n corners so I haven't found this to b a insurmountable problem by taking the precautions I listed right above. All n all these r glorious wheels truly worthy of the great Orangatang name, and I'd highly recommend them to any1 even if like me ur not using them to downhill ride or race and r just using them to simply push around or especially if ur using them to commute or ride anywhere when larger distances r involved. Also I hav found for me the mid-durometer Orange Orangatang Cagaumas give me a very comfortable soft ride especially n combination with my 1/4" soft Khiro shock riser pads on top of a set of 1/8" hard round longboard risers set against my 39" ARBOR Axel Serrat Longboard. I'd also highly highly recommend the complete Arbor Axel Serrat 39" Complete Longboard too, or if not that model then I'd highly without a doubt recommend any Arbor skateboard or Arbor Longboards also! Get a pair of Cagaumas and I don't c any way possible u can b disappointed if u get the proper durometer/color wheels for what type of riding u do, I've even used my Orange Cagaumas to skateboard over grass on flatland patches, over packed dirt trails, and over long steep grass downhills too with no problem as long as it was dry out and I had enough speed comin into those grasses and dirt areas and sections!
Perfect
Jhon on 02/28/22It great for high speeds and low and just great over all and this guy Avery cant spell and does not know what hes talking about there per fect and ive been riding since i was 10 and now im 42
