It’s official. The beloved surf and skate brand, Life’s A Beach is back in the good ol’ USA and it’s looking as good as ever. The brand, which was an essential brand for all boarders in the 80s and into the 90s, was almost lost forever when they went basically dormant for over 20 years. Fans of the brand that had images of Gonz skating in head-to-toe LAB prints, or the awesomely weird ads they would run burned firmly in their brains, had nothing left of the brand but memories. Then, Greg Finch came into the picture and changed it all around. Greg relaunched the brand out of the Palace Skateboards office alongside Melvyn De Villiers in 2013. Greg assigned creative direction to obsession-worthy designer Fergus Percell, the man behind the Palace Skateboards logo and a recent collab with KR3W earlier this year. Together, they’ve been cranking out collections that would make any true Life’s A Beach fan proud. Greg told Highsnobiety, “I immediately thought of Fergus. He’s got about three LAB tattoos and the brand has had a huge influence on his illustration and design career so there really wasn’t any question about it.”

With the Fall 2016 collection, the brand is finally returning to their roots and opening distribution to the U.S. The collection, which is available at CCS before anywhere else, features classic Life’s A Beach logos with new additions of flower prints, holographic logos, and dip-dye tees. In true Life’s A Beach fashion, we set out on a beach day to create a lookbook for the line which proves that summer doesn’t have to end.
