Brand Spotlight: Lakai

Every so often, the CCS Crew likes to highlight a specific brand we are really stoked on. In an effort to showcase just some of what goes on at the headquarters of these brands, we give you the CCS Brand Spotlight. Through photos, video, and more, we hope each Brand Spotlight gives you a behind-the-scenes glimpse into some of your favorite companies.

This time, it's Lakai. We got to visit Mike Carroll and Rick Howard for a tour around the Crailtap/Lakai Headquarters, chat with one of their main shoe designers, hang out with some team riders, and, best of all, we got to skate the park. Check out what's going on over at Lakai!

Next, we got an exclusive tour of Crail East, a main Lakai/Fourstar processing center. Lakai Team Manager, Daniel Wheatley, guides us through the warehouse as a few team riders make like kids in a candy store and pick out a pile of new shoes.

Finally, we got to sit down with Footwear Designer Jeff Mikut for a glimpse into his take on modern skate shoes, technology, his favorite parts of the job, and more!
